I wanted to write freelance. It was my decision. Therefore I have only myself to blame for the current state of affairs: Two articles to write in 24 hours and a third to begin when those are done.
Did I mention that I’m preaching this Sunday?
…And that I don’t even know what the lectionary scriptures are yet?
…And that I’m delivering the mail every day this week?

I can sympathize, my friends ….. at least to an extent. Two of three articles completed before I took off on vacation, were waiting for me when I returned, with instructions for added interviews and re-writes.
For me at least, when Sunday came along and the articles were done – AGAIN! – I was able to sit back, take it easy, and listen to someone else preach.
