Not the band. I never really liked them anyway. Except for Lights. That was a good song. But I digress…
Had a little chat with my supervisor today. Asked her when I might expect to see a signed copy of that leave request I submitted. She said, “I wait ’til the last minute with you RCAs*. But it looks good. I already have it on the calendar. But if Doug takes off, there’s gonna be a problem.”
Of course, I already talked with Doug. Which she knows. Or, at least, I thought she knew.
So I’m going out on a limb here, since there’s less than a month to go. I’ll tell you about it now. Many of you remember last year when I got in a rented Ford Taurus (the Beige Bull) and cruised around the country for two weeks. I blogged about the entire trip and made some of you guess where I was… some of you didn’t have to guess because, well, I was with you at the time.
I’m not sure if I’ll be visiting too many other bloggers this time, but I am planning a similar journey. Similar, but different.
This time, I have an idea where I’m going. That doesn’t mean that you will, though. You’ll still have to guess (if you want to).
So yeah, I may email you if you’re in my line of travel. I may ask if you want to get coffee. You can refuse, of course, and no one will ever know.
I’m leaving on September 8th after I finish delivering whatever mail they make me deliver. I’ll be on the road for two weeks. My first stop will probably not be Bowers, PA, though I do plan on attending the National Chili Pepper Festival on Friday, September 7th.

Oh, BTW, FYI, and IYKWIM, the two road photos above are absolutely huge hints.
After all these years, I’m still a flaming INFP.
