i got one

So I bought myself an iPod.

I got home, inserted the usb port that came with it into my computer and started iTunes. The message on the screen told me I had just hooked up Jim’s iPod. How did it know my name?

Then it automatically synced all my music, without me doing a thing.

Nice.

One issue: the headphones SUCK. The look nice but are completely non-functional (partly because they are ear buds, and partly because the wiring is bad and I only hear things in mono). But since I already have a pair of good, non-earbud headphones this isn’t a major problem.

Now I’m off to try this thing in the car. I need to fill the tank (that’s my excuse, anyway).

This could be love.

 

P.S. I did get the day off today, which made this purchase possible. Come to think of it, so did the last two days of work 😉
