I picked up some Mrs. Renfro’s Chipotle Corn Salsa the other day while doing the grocery shopping. Grocery shopping has always been my job, btw… Joy makes the list, I make the trip. This week’s list had what were obviously taco ingredients in it, so quick thinking guy that I am, I thought I’d get some hot salsa in addition to the medium garbage preferred by the other members of my family.
Let me just say that the Chipotle Corn Salsa, while terrific, is not that hot. It’s hot, but not smoke coming out yer ears hot. What it is, is tasty. Very tasty. I’d like to try some of their extra hot Green Salsa but I don’t think my grocery store is brave enough to carry it.

Of course, all this talk of peppers reminds me that the National Chile Pepper Festival in Bowers, PA is only two months away.
And that means… ah, not yet.
My current articles are up at the 422 Business Advisor site. The cover story is about a local bank (whose president lives on route 4, BTW) and the column is about Phoenixville. Again.
