The short version of the very interesting story behind this post is that a friend of mine from college, whom I had lost touch with for, oh, nineteen years or so, recently contacted me through my LinkedIn listing.

We began trading emails back and forth and the link to Music for Ice Cream Trucks was in the latest one from her. I think she was trying to get back at me for taking her to our Senior Ball.
