Will some regular carrier call out sick tomorrow? I hope not but I wouldn’t be surprised.
According to the forecast, we’re due for a high of 26 degrees tomorrow. While I’m delivering route 9, starting at approximately 9:30am (Route 9 is the shortest route, it takes about 45 minutes to deliver) it will only be 17 degrees.
When considering the wind chill at that time, how cold do you think it will feel…?
One.

I feel your pain. I’m out it in this weather every day starting around 5:30AM to tend to our horses. Let me just say – not fun.

You’re more out than me… at least I get to ride in a vehicle, even if it does have the window wide open.

I always appreciate a good Planes, Trains and Automobiles reference. “People train don’t run out of Wichita, lessen you’re a hog or a cattle…”
Stay warm!
