Will some regular carrier call out sick tomorrow? I hope not but I wouldn’t be surprised.

According to the forecast, we’re due for a high of 26 degrees tomorrow. While I’m delivering route 9, starting at approximately 9:30am (Route 9 is the shortest route, it takes about 45 minutes to deliver) it will only be 17 degrees.

When considering the wind chill at that time, how cold do you think it will feel…?

One.

Someone (or two someones) found their way here today via a search for ‘ “marriage mail” usps’

Today is Thursday, which is marriage mail day (around here, I don’t know if it’s the same everywhere). But if it is, and whoever searched their way to my blog is a carrier… let me just say, “I feel your pain.”

Slate tests for the best book light here. Now, where was this article last week when I bought one (not the best, either)?

This article brought to you via Kimbooktu who one of you fine blogrollites introduced me to, though I’m sorry to report that I can’t remember exactly who. Anyway, she’s bookish but that’s just fine with me. You can find Kim and her books and her book paraphernalia in the blogroll as of now.

This picture is for Marissa, who posts the occaisonal cute puppy picture.

Shock and surprise, it’s also an ad! The gizmodics as gizmodo posted about it.

And how surprised would I be to find one of these in the my mother’s house next time I visit?
