I’m spent.

Today was the day I was dreading since last Friday. That was when I learned that Tuesday Jan 2, 20067 would be a national day of mourning, thereby causing a suspension of mail delivery. Today I discovered that this did not mean that the postal service would completely shut down on Tuesday. Apparently they were working pretty hard yesterday, judging by the mountain of mail I found in front of route 5’s case at 5:30-something this morning. Yikes!

Gotta love those twleve hour work days. Especially when they’re over.
