18 years ago today it snowed. Snowed!
And my sister danced in the backseat of a long limo, with her head out the sunsnowroof and a drink in her hand and spilled not a drop,
And the DJ was told to play no Madonna, no Alleycat and no Hokey Pokey or he would be fired,
And the reception hall waited an hour between each course, to the great consternation of the guests,
And balloons fell from the ceiling,
And Will shared a homily about socks,
And my dad looked like Michael Douglas in Wall Street,
And the bride was beautiful,
And the groom had a lump in his throat that’s still there.

And yes, my sister is very talented. I’ll bet she can still do that torso out of the limo trick.
