You all took some nice swings on that last round. But you all whiffed too. The picture was from Peoria, IL and was taken yesterday afternoon. Since leaving Indianapolis, I’ve stopped moving only long enough to sleep and am now having lunch many miles from Peoria. And many miles from the city I slept in last night. Craig McRoberts hasn’t chimed in yet about that, but I’m really looking forward to reading his guess.

I agree not only with Gwynne but with Brian. You need to tell Panera about your trip so you can at least get free refills or something. Either that, or you’ve dragged out really old photos from trips long ago and are sitting in Panera at home laughing hillariously to yourself about how we all think you’re really going through Peoria. Seriously, who goes to Peoria on purpose?

Alright, Jim, I’ll weigh in.
You obviously took I-74 out of Indy, since you passed through Peoria. That would most likely put Des Moines next in line, in the way of major cities. Given the general direction of travel, I’d put you ending up somewhere near San Francisco.

I’ll chime in again when there’s a little more information. However, I will posit that you’re either in or near Denver. If not that, the only other logical choice would be somewhere on the western end of South Dakota.
